Free News API Lite: Now Available

Free News API Lite: Now Available

We are excited to announce the launch of our newest API, the Webz.io News API Lite. This is a free, community version of our popular News API product used by automated platform companies and application developers worldwide.

The API gives you limited access to our vast repository of global news content, including up to 30 days of historical news data. It also includes advanced search capabilities so you can quickly refine and target your news data searches.

Why the News API Lite?

In today’s fast-paced world, companies and individuals need to stay informed and analyze trends to make sound business decisions and further innovation. However, accessing and integrating news is challenging for those working on non-commercial projects with limited resources. High-quality news data usually comes at a significant cost in terms of money and time. The easy-to-use News API Lite gives you limited access to our extensive global news content repository without any cost.

This API is a part of our commitment to help students, developers, and researchers with their non-commercial projects by providing high-quality, relevant news information.

Using the API

The free News API Lite includes up to 1,000 calls per month and 10 articles returned per call. You also get all the advanced features of the standard News API, like Boolean queries and filters. We’ve created a simple guide that explains the three easy steps to using the API. Also, check out the documentation, which contains detailed information about the API’s capabilities.

We’re excited to see how you use the API — have fun experimenting!
