Backend Python Developer

Webz.io is looking for a Python Developer to join our team

What You’ll be Doing:

• Develop and maintain the collection system’s technology & architecture. 
• Designing and developing new features and enhancements
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and test the core product software and databases to ensure healthy functionality, identify bugs and issues for proactive resolution
• Implement optimizations to enhance the system’s efficiency, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

What You Should Have for the Role:

• 3+ years of experience in Python development
• Experience developing data pipelines and integrating downstream systems like databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, MySQL, Redis) and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Pulsar).
• Experience working on high-scale, production-grade projects
• Comprehensive understanding of web technologies and internet architecture (e.g., HTTP protocols, APIs, and networking principles).
• A people-oriented with strong soft skills who is capable of thinking creatively, and is great at execution.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
